What We Do

Discipleship and Mentoring

We seek to hold as many one-on-one and small-group sessions possible with those who are drawn by the Lord’s Spirit to our shepherding ministry. Our goal is to motivate and equip those hungry for the deepness and richness of Messiah Jesus. Believers must disciple themselves and then disciple others. To disciple oneself with dependence primarily on Christ, without expectations on others, is the Christian’s primary task to embrace and most essential skill to develop.

One of the ways we minister is through a semimonthly Men’s Discipleship Luncheon. During these fellowships, Dr. McCarty seeks to inspire and equip a core group of dedicated men to know the Word, teach it, and faithfully follow Christ as husbands, fathers, and friends. The ultimate aim is to become greater disciples of Jesus so that they can then disciple others to walk in His Way with the Mind of Christ.

Another discipleship group Dr. McCarty leads is his monthly Talks on the Christ Life, a gathering of Christians hungry for deeper biblical truths and spiritual development opportunities, whether they are new in their walk with God or a studied, mature believer. This group meets on the third Sunday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Mary Maestri’s Restaurant on Highway 412 East in Springdale, Arkansas. It is open to any believer who desires more of God.

Dr. McCarty is available to speak to any venue where freedom is given to speak of the spiritual. To learn more visit the Speaking Engagements page of our website.

If you wish to know more about how you can participate in either of these two groups, please Contact the Ventures office for more information.
